Granny

eBay is not horrible.

Posting in huge yarn user communities (crochet, knitting, etc) will clean out a stash pretty quickly. You just have to be very organized. I remember a post on crochet last year where someone had posted their stash. She had an offsite page with a table breaking down exactly what she had, color, brand, skein size, the price per skein and a sample, close up picture of the yarn where possible. When someone had asked for something, she would mark it "pending". When it was paid/shipped, she would delete it from the list. It seemed to work out pretty well.

make sure you tell us where it is. I haven't gotten to the point where I have to get rid of my stash and start over yet!
